KF 001 - take a walk on the wild side

Text by Matthew Turner: A spine of development is formed around the creek, stretching back from the beech, in a series of circular 'patches' or lawned clearings, forming a human inhabitation corridor and leaving large parts of the site as dense forest for fauna. The pavilion is a straightforward show house, a timber construction formed of two beams set at an angle to each other, one relating to the corridor, and the other to the patch.
