NA 365 - Tilled Earth

Text by Matthew Turner: At the projects core is 'an abstract wave interpretation of the history of Deventer'. This is superimposed on the site. An upside down wedge-shaped tower is attached to the tall silo, and accommodates apartments. The silo is converted into a huge spiraling staircase culminating in a Matrix-style 'daredevil's point'. The rest of the site is occupied by an urban park, with the layout of the performance space stepping down to the water continuing the geometrical theme.
